Point guard C.J. Watson averaged 24.5 minutes in 2008-09 and 27.5 in 2009-10, while playing for the Golden State Warriors. Watson is with the Chicago Bulls this season and his time on the floor is down to 11.2 minutes per game.
Watson just shrugs when asked about adjusting to the Bulls and the lack of playing-time.
"They just told me that minutes might be tough but to stay positive and keep playing," Watson told the Chicago Tribune.
"I'm playing whenever coach puts me out there," he added. "I have to keep the tempo when Derrick Rose goes out, keep the score close, try to get some buckets, play some defense, get some steals and create some havoc."
Watson agreed to a sign-an-trade to Chicago in July. He is making $3.6 million for this season.
