The New Jersey Nets not only had Terrence Williams on the inactive list Tuesday against Atlanta, but they also told him to not even come to the game. He will also miss the Nets game against the Celtics on Wednesday, too.
"Terrence is inactive for repeatedly violating team policy," head coach Avery Johnson told The Star-Ledger. "So that's why he's inactive tonight and he will not travel with the team to Boston."
Johnson wouldn't divulge which rules Williams had broken.
"It's been something that we've dealt with for the past 2-3 weeks or so, and I don't know if he clearly understands what we're trying to do."
Johnson said Williams has been fined multiple times, but "that hasn't worked."
